Basement Freaks (Good Grooves)

Basement Freaks project started in 2005 by George Fotiadis a self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Thessaloniki/Greece. Started playing music in 93 where he was the songwriter & guitarist of an indie rock band.
After many years working in his home studio George started composing & producing the Basement Freaks sound in 2005. Debut cd album "Urban Jungle" released by Music Kitchen records a label based in Thessaloniki/Greece. The album got positive feedback from some great producers in the scene such as: Stereo Mcs & Kraak n Smaak. The Basement Freaks sound gets in the map of the global underground Funky Breakbeat scene. Feedback comes warmer this time from producers like:A.Skillz, Flow Dynamics, A.G.F.A, Smoove,
Q Dup Foundation, Fort Knox Five, Valique who support the Basement Freaks tunes!
His track "Move Sucka on Good Grooves Records (released Feb 08) became one of the bestseller Breakbeat Vinyls at Juno & Fat City online shops.
Last couple of years George @ Dj Jorge played at several festivals & venues in Greece & Central Europe. Mixing traditional tunes like Balkan, Brazilian, Flamenco, Afro Latin with the heavy funky beat in Basement Freaks new trend!
